For 700g of potato you will need:

  • 2 1/4 cups of regular milk
  • 1 1/2 cup of look warm water
  • 5 1/2 tablespoon of butter
  • 4-5 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of salt (to taste)
  • Pepper for taste
  • You can get onion leaves or fresh parsley for decoration
  • Note: you need a mortar, pestle and a bigger pan for this

Let’s get the show on the road!

  1. Wash all the potatoes thoroughly
  2.  Cut them into small piece
  3.  Set your saucepan on a low heat
  4. Put two tablespoons of butter
  5. Add chopped garlic
  6. When garlic turns golden brown, add the cut potatoes
  7. Sauté the potatoes for a while
  8. Add 2more tablespoons of butter
  9. Then add 1 cup of water, close the lid
  10. Allow to boil till potatoes soften.

  19. When you have gotten a fine paste
  20. Transfer back to same saucepan and cook in medium heat
  21. Add the remaining milk to get the right thickness
  22. Pending on your target, you can add a little extra milk
  23. Add the pepper and salt to taste
  24. Add either your onion leaves or fresh parsley for decoration
